I don’t publish a blog post, share one Pin, and move on. If that’s your current approach, you’re either setting yourself up for burnout by writing constantly, or leaving a lot of potential traffic on the table.

The reality is that one single blog post can actually fuel up to 60 different Pinterest pins if you know how to spin it right.

That means instead of constantly chasing new content every week, you can squeeze way more traffic out of the content you already have. It’s smarter, easier, and it works.

In this post, I’ll show you exactly how I stretch one piece of content further than you ever thought possible: turning one post into 60 pins without rewriting it 60 times.

This blog offers practical tips from my experience on how to make money online and grow a business. Results will vary. There is no guarantee.

Step 1: Start with One Strong Blog Post

The first thing you need is a solid evergreen post that answers a problem your audience is already searching for.

For example, I have a trending blog post titled: How to Create and Sell a Planner. It’s practical, evergreen, and solves a real pain point. Market research using Keysearch also showed me that there is a high search volume for this topic.

Using this strong post as an example, I’ll show you how everything else will spin off from here.

Step 2: Spin It Into 5 Angles

There are 5 main types of spinoffs I can create from this one post: niche spin offs, platform focused spin-offs, product-focused spin-offs, quick win spin-offs and seasonal spins-offs.

A) Niche Spin-Offs

This is when you vary the audience your post is directed to. So Instead of “planners for everyone,” you turn that one post into several variations. For example:

  • How to Create a Budget Planner That Sells

  • How to Create a Self-Care Planner for Busy Moms

  • How to Create a Student Study Planner

Same original post but repurposed for these new angles.

B) Platform-Focused Spin-Offs

This is when you position the same blog post for specific platforms like so:

  • How to Sell Planners on Etsy (Step by Step)

  • How to Sell Planners on Shopify Without Inventory

  • How to Sell Planners on Amazon KDP

You haven’t changed the content, just different platforms so it can appeal to people regardless of where they want to sell.

C) Product-Focused Spin-Offs

For this spin-off, Zoom in on the type of product. Explore whatever variation exists in your product.

Using my example, I can create spinoffs like so:

  • Digital vs Printable Planners: Which Sells Better?

  • How to Make a Digital Planner in Canva

  • 5 Types of Planners That Always Sell on Etsy

D) Quick-Win Spins

Pinterest and people love anything that addresses a concern and feels fast and doable. Some examples of quick win spinoffs for my strong post would be:

  • How to Make a Planner in One Weekend

  • The Simplest Planner You Can Sell for Passive Income

  • 3 Tools That Make Planner Design Stupid Easy

Each focusing on quick results and appealing to a different kind of audience such as people who are very busy.

E) Add Pinterest-Specific Spins

Pinterest specific spin-offs are my favorite for getting more saves and clicks. Here are some examples:

  • Infographics: Create infographics with the main ideas in your post.

  • Seasonal Hooks: Add a holiday or back-to-school spin. Example: “Holiday Planners You Can Create and Sell Fast.”

  • Checklists: Offer a free printable like “Planner Business Checklist.” Pins that tease free printables do incredibly well.

  • Mini-Posts: Zoom in on just one step. Example: “How to Design a Planner Cover That Stands Out.

How to generate spinoffs

I use ChatGPT or koala ai to do the heavy lifting and coming up with spin offs. Here is an example prompt I use, save it in your notes:

[I have a blog post titled [insert blog post title].

Generate 12 Pinterest spin-off angles for this post in 4 categories:

- Niche-focused

- Platform-focused

- Product-focused

- Quick-win focused

-Seasonal focused]

That’s it and you get at least:

  • 12 spin-off angles (3 niche + 3 platform + 3 product + 3 quick-win)

  • Each one = create 5 pins

  • 12 × 5 = 60 fresh pins

You can then give ChatGPT your entire original blog post and ask it to tweak the introduction and any part of the content to suit the new spin off.

Just like that you would have created a cluster of topics on your blog. Even Google loves to see that for ranking.

Step 4: Create and promote your 60 pins fast

When it comes to creating pins, I find that Ideogram is perfect for quick pin generation. I really love it because it creates unique pins that are scroll-stopping. I don’t spend hours in Canva anymore, except when I need to use branded templates to batch create pins for clients.

Step 5: Schedule & Test

Now that you’ve created your pins, Tailwind can help you schedule them. A good rhythm is to spread them across 4–6 weeks and pin them to several relevant boards, not just one. For example, I might pin a planner post to boards like Side Hustle Ideas, Blogging Tips, or Etsy Business. That way, no matter what someone is searching for on Pinterest, there’s a good chance one of my pins will appear.

Just be sure to keep an eye on which pins get the most saves and clicks. Those angles are gold. If one really takes off, that’s usually my signal to double down and create more fresh new pins for that angle.

Final Thoughts

A blog post doesn’t have to be finished the moment you hit publish. With the right strategy, it can keep working for you, fueling dozens of Pinterest pins, driving traffic, and even boosting your SEO.

Instead of pushing yourself to write 10 new posts, start with one strong evergreen piece and repurpose it into different angles. Each spin-off reuses 70–80% of your original content, so you’re not starting from scratch, you’re simply repackaging your work for maximum reach.

Ready to try it? Pick your best post, run it through these spin-off prompts, and watch it turn into 60 fresh pins. And if this was helpful, pin it now so you can come back to the workflow whenever you need it.
